5 ingredient cookies and dough you can eat raw? Yes please!
If you are anything like my family, all things sweet are devoured in what seems like seconds. A family favorite is the classic chocolate chip cookie. Not so healthy, right?
I have a recipe that has only 5 ingredients and is a healthy version of the classic chocolate chip cookie.
The nice thing about this recipe is you add all your ingredients in at once, mix, & bake. For the ingredients, you’ll want: 1/2 cup quick rolled oats, 1/2 cup organic maple syrup, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips (really depends on how chocolatey you want them), 1 tsp baking powder.
You’ll add all your ingredients in a large bowl and mix. I let my dough chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes. It’s so much easier to work with this way. You’ll bake your cookies @ 350° for 17-20 minutes. You’ll end up with 12 golden-brown, delicious cookies.
I doubled the recipe this time! I finally found something I’m good at and enjoy, so I wanted to make sure my family could enjoy it too. These cookies are a healthier take on chocolate chip cookies- and a hit in my family!
